How the game works: care, explore, combine collars, and watch your world transform
Start each session by feeding, petting, walking, and playing with your dog. These actions boost your dog's mood and energy, which are essential for exploration and unlocking new activities.
Send your dog to explore different regions. Each exploration can yield items, trigger story moments, or reveal new locations. The better your dog's condition, the better the discoveries.
Engage in quick, skill-based moments during walks and play sessions. These optional challenges add variety and can earn bonus rewards, but they're never required to progress.
The heart of color progression. Combine different colored collars you've discovered to mix new colors. Each combination unlocks more color in your world and opens access to new areas.
As you unlock colors, the grayscale world gradually transforms. New regions become accessible, more customization options appear, and your dog's environment becomes richer and more vibrant.

No. Launch version (v1 and v2) will have zero crypto, NFTs, or blockchain elements. Web3 features are planned as optional future additions for cosmetics only—never required for gameplay.
You'll discover colored collars through exploration. Using the Fusion Reactor, you can combine collars to create new colors. Each new color you unlock brings more vibrancy to your world and opens new areas to explore. The system is designed to be intuitive and rewarding.
DOGBONE is the in-game point system. You earn it by caring for your dog, completing explorations, and making progress. Use DOGBONE to unlock customization options, special items, and quality-of-life features.
When you create an account, all your progress is saved to the cloud. Your dog's stats, unlocked colors, discovered items, and world state are preserved. You can log in from any device and continue your journey.
